Let us help you connect with visitors. Chautauqua County Visitors Bureau offers area tourism businesses several targeted ways to market to visitors, trip planners, and local residents. Our marketing programs reach customers who are in the process of making decisions about where to go, what to buy, and where to book. Membership - Cost is $100 annually
CCVB membership is important for area tourism businesses that wish to participate in collective efforts to promote Chautauqua County as a destination. Membership also provides specific benefits, including a place in several of the resources we utilize to attract and inform visitors.
Membership Benefits Include:
- A detailed listing on the official tourism website for Chautauqua County tourchautauqua.com
- A description and photos of your business is included with your website listing as well as links to your website, social media, and email address, plus your phone number, and hours. Your listing will also indicate your location on a map, and can be included by the consumer in the Trip Ideas function of the website.
- We will add tourism businesses to the I Love NY website when applicable (certain restrictions apply)
- Member brochures are placed at the Chautauqua Main Gate Welcome Center at Chautauqua Institution, accessible to over 100,000 visitors annually.
- Accommodation members are listed in the Chautauqua County Accommodations Directory which is included with a Travel Guide in travel packets mailed out to visitors as well as distributed at our information center locations.
- Members are able to feature their packages and special offers on tourchautauqua.com. Contact the CCVB office at 716-357-4569 for information.
- All Members will receive CCVB's member e-newsletter which highlights important industry issues, events, news, and promotional opportunities.
- Events will be included in the Calendar of Events on TourChautauqua.com as well as printed event calendar updates that we distribute. We will note events that have been canceled or postponed.
- CCVB is your liaison for tourism industry issues with local, regional, state, and federal agencies, organizations and officials.

Website Advertising and Premium Listing Options
Pricing varies—CCVB membership is required. Discounts available for Travel Guide advertisers!
CCVB members can purchase digital display ad space as well as premium position website listings on TourChautauqua.com. The TourChautauqua website is visited by more than 300,000 users per year making it one of the area’s most frequently utilized travel planning tools.
- Digital Display Ads provide your business with a digital ad on a Section page and all related sub-Category pages within that section. Your ad can be placed on the Home Page section, the Stay page section, the Play page section, the Explore page section, or the Shopping and Dining pages. Costs range between $250 and $800 annually, varying with location on the website and level of Travel Guide advertising package.
- Premium Listings—ensure that your business shows up as one of the first few (six) listings in a specific website category (ie. golf, B & B, campground, art gallery, wineries, etc.). A member may purchase a premium position listing in more than one category. Costs range between $225 and $350 annually.
Enewsletter & Digital TV Marketing Options
Pricing varies—CCVB membership is required
- A Featured Enewsletter allows you to be exclusively featured in an enewsletter mailing that can be sent to more than 25,000 CCVB enewsletter subscribers. Your business will be the sole feature of the enewsletter and can direct the reader back to your website.
- Enewsletter Ads provide the opportunity to display your businesses in one of our regular Consumer enewsletters. We send out 12-15 General Consumer Enewsletter issues annually. We allow two advertisers per issue.
- Display your message to visitors to the Chautauqua Institution Main Gate Welcome Center on CCVB's TV.

I Love New York Chautauqua County Travel Guide Ad Space
Costs Vary Based on Ad Size
The annual Chautauqua County Travel Guide is the area’s most comprehensive and informative visitor resource. The Travel Guide is mailed to thousands of visitors prior to their trip, distributed through brochure rack networks locally and in our visitor market areas, and at AAA and Chamber offices and information centers in the multi-state region.
The Travel Guide is a full color magazine, directory, and map devoted to the activities and visitor amenities in Chautauqua County. More than 150,000 Travel Guides are distributed annually.
Work on the 2025 Travel Guide will begin in July 2024.

I-86 Chautauqua Lake Rest Area Display Space
Cost is $50 for a standard brochure and $80 for an oversized brochure or booklet (CCVB membership is required)
Display your brochure or rack card at this spectacular rest area, overlooking scenic Chautauqua Lake. More than 200,000 travelers stop at the rest area each year, with 35,000-40,000 picking up information about things to do, places to eat, and lodging. The rest area and information display are open 24 hours a day on a year-round basis.

Public Relations/Press Releases - Included with Membership
News about your business, group or organization that would interest the traveling public is important to us. We provide PR in the form of calendar listings, press releases, social media posts, story inquiries, and media referrals. If you have news or special events, be sure to send us the information as far in advance as possible and we will include it where appropriate in our news mailings. Calendar of Events - No Fee Required
CCVB gathers and compiles event information for promotion through our website, our Travel Guide, and through regional media. There is no charge to have an event included on our website, TourChautauqua.com. Submit Packages, Offers, and Promotions - Included with Membership
Use the link to provide information about seasonal or thematic packages and promotions that your business is offering. We encourage you to work with other area attractions and amenities in the development of packages, though this is not required.
Group and Event Marketing - Included with Membership
CCVB provides itinerary suggestions and referrals to several types of group function planners, including motor coach tours, tournament planners, weddings, and meeting & conference activities.
