View the 2024 total solar eclipse in Lake Erie Wine Country during the Lights Out! event April 5-8, 2024.
Lake Erie Wine Country is in the Path of Totality for the April 8th solar eclipse. Join us for this once-in-a-lifetime experience as this rare phenomenon won't occur again in Chautauqua County until 2144, 120 years from now.
Pick up your ticket at your host winery where you will receive instructions for your return on Monday to view the eclipse.
Your ticket provides you with 3-days (Friday-Saturday-Sunday) to enjoy all 21 of our LEWC wineries. Each one will be offering an eclipse themed food item.
On Monday, April 8th, you must return to your host winery to receive your NASA authorized eclipse viewing glasses. Get ready for the celebration of a lifetime!
The Wine Trail is about 50 miles long and runs amidst 30,000 acres of vineyards along Lake Erie in western New York and Pennsylvania in “America’s Grape Country”.
Twenty-three wineries produce award winning wines including vinifera, ice wines, fruit wines, and specialty wines such as brandies and ports. Wineries are open year-round – plan your trip and experience the rich heritage of one of America’s oldest grape growing or viticulture regions.
