The village of Cassadaga is located on the banks of one three conjoined Cassadaga Lakes, with a public beach and park along with a combination of residences, cottages and undisturbed tree-lined shoreline. To the south is the lower Cassadaga Lake, which is ringed with cottages but offers an interesting convoluted shoreline to explore with Canoe & Boat Rentals available. Head north, and you can paddle under the bridge to Upper Cassadaga Lake...where you will find Lily Dale on the southeast shore and a few cottages dot the northwest shore; otherwise this lake is undeveloped. In addition to any spirits that drift your way, you’ll probably be accompanied by some large white swans. They’re Lily Dale residents, but they wander the entire lake and like to greet visitors.
