Located just across the street from the Chautauqua Institution, the Chautauqua Golf Course is one of only two 36-hole courses between Cleveland and Rochester. In addition to two championship 18-hole golf courses, the Chautauqua Golf Club "Clubhouse & Conference Center" can facilitate up to 225 people.
Visit the expansive Golf Learning Center with your group for range, practice holes and quality instruction. After a full day on the course whether a tournament or learning experience, you can finish with a relaxing meal and drinks at the beautiful full service Club House. Banquet and catering services available.
From the first round of golf, played on July 18, 1914, the Chautauqua Golf Club has carved a rich and exciting history. Legendary Scottish architects Seymour Dunn and Donald Ross have left their legacy here. Fourteen World Golf Hall of Famers, including Sam Snead, Ben Hogan, Walter Hagen and Gene Sarazen, have walked these fairways. Statesmen, celebrities and performers attending the world-renowned Chautauqua Institution have eagerly challenged our courses as well, including President Bill Clinton.
