The Chautauqua Lake Snowmobile Club was founded over 50 seasons ago for the purpose of making a local trail system that was both safe and enjoyable. Located in the western-most part of New York State where the average annual snowfall exceeds 250 inches, its volunteers maintain over 200 miles of scenic trails and is the Largest Snowmobile Club in New York State! Its trails are linked to local service businesses and other clubs in the county, and the clubhouse, located on Hannum Rd. in Mayville, NY, is available to all 2300+ CLSC members and has comfort facilities as well as a mini kitchen.
The club currently operates 10 Class “A” Groomers and expends countless volunteer hours preparing the trails for snow. The club meets the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays at 7:30 pm September through May, and the 1st Wednesday June through August. There are fun family activities from dinner rides to bonfires throughout the season for everyone that wants to have fun in the snow.
