The Dr. Robert R. Hesse Welcome and Business Center (Main Gate Welcome Center) is home to the Chautauqua County Visitors Bureau and Chautauqua Institution tickets, will call, and information.
The facility, located at the Chautauqua Institution Main Gate, features restrooms, a business center, and year-round staff to assist visitors in finding information on attractions throughout Chautauqua County. Visiting the Main Gate Welcome Center does not require a Chautauqua Institution gate pass at any time of year, and parking is located just outside the building.
Promotional materials for Chautauqua County and Chautauqua Institution businesses are stocked and distributed, along with informational screens on events and activities. The Chautauqua County Visitors Bureau staffs the building year-round, including weekends. (However, the building is closed nights, some holidays, and Mondays during the off-season.) Chautauqua Institution ticket staff works extended hours during the summer.
