Historical site with a working lighthouse and a veterans museum. The 61-ft tower still has its original third-order Fresnel lens. The light's 27-mile range makes Dunkirk one of the most prominent on Lake Erie with an extensive collection of military and maritime artifacts. Take in an amazing view of Lake Erie from the Lighthouse Observation Deck.

Check the website for details on Ghost Tours!

Guided museum tours include a climb of the Dunkirk Lighthouse's spiral stairs to the upper observation level, a walk through the restored 1800 lighthouse keeper's home, and experiencing the Museum by seeing and discovering the many Lake Erie nautical displays and US Veterans displays. Then top it off with a tour of the lighthouse grounds. You will be escorted by a lighthouse staff member.
