Not your grandfather's history museum! Housed in the 1863 Mansion of New York State's 22nd Governor, Reuben E. Fenton, The Fenton History Center is all about what makes the area great, from local history exhibits, to a reference/genealogy library.
Paid admission includes access to the Fenton History Center and Research Center. Exhibits change regularly, so you may wish to consider a membership.

Group Planning Information
Consider the Fenton History Center for your group itinerary and learn about the rich history of Chautauqua County and some of its notable locals. Tours last on average between one and one and a half hours and the facility can park two to three buses at a time. There is a reduced admission cost of $8 per person for groups of 15 or more. There is a dining room that fits 30 people available for rent, and audio/visual equipment is available to add-on. During the first two weekends of October they put on the Saints and Sinners Cemetery Tours which has become a popular annual event, and for more information about group tours click here.
