Whether camping in one of the 102 campsites or one of the 10 cabins offered at this park, the magnificent scenery will capture your attention. Day users can enjoy the picnic areas with shelters, playgrounds and hiking trails that are available to the cross-country skiers during the winter months. Lake Erie State Park is recognized as an excellent place for locating rare migratory birds following the lake's edge.
Shipwreck Bluff Disc Golf Course is a scenic course on the shores of Lake Erie. The diverse range of holes that will challenge any golfer. Besides a nice mix of holes, the course offers some amazing views of Lake Erie. Park has discs & clothing for sale. Rental set includes 3 discs (putter, mid-range, driver).
More than one hundred and fifty avian species have been identified at Lake Erie State Park, including the Red-breasted Merganser, several additional species of waterfowl, warblers, sparrows, finches, oriels, and more.
