Lucille Ball Memorial Park
Lucille Ball Memorial Park Statues

What is now known as the "Ugly" or "Scary" Lucy statue shows Lucille Ball during her famous tipsy TV pitch for Vitameatavegamin health tonic. Scary Lucy has garnered national and international media coverage, with visitors coming from far and wide to take photographs with the statue.

A new Lovely Lucy statue (pictured above) sculpted by Carolyn D. Palmer arrived in August 2016, but the village decided to keep Scary Lucy in Lucille Ball Memorial Park as well.

Visitors now may see both statues in the same park while also enjoying a lighthouse, boat and kayak launch, band shell, pavilion, picnic area, playground, basketball court, and community center. Stop by to see the statues, and enjoy all the Celoron area has to offer, including the Chautauqua Harbor Hotel, lakeside activities and more.
