The Northwest Arena is A Cool Place to Be!
Located across from the National Comedy Center, named “one of the best museums in the country” by Condé Nast Traveler, the Northwest Arena in Jamestown, NY, is the heart of the city’s indoor activity throughout the year. A 35,000 square foot multi-use facility with dual National Hockey League size ice pads, arena seating, a walking track, meeting space, café and lounge, the Northwest Arena attracts more than 250,000 visitors annually for numerous events including performances by top name comedians during the annual Lucille Ball Comedy Festival.
Residents and visitors alike regularly head to the arena for public skating, ice bumper cars, skate 'n shoot hockey, backyard curling, or walking and running on the “cool” track. More than just a center for sports and physical activity, people of all ages come to the arena to be with friends and teammates, bond with family members and catch up on the latest community news.
The all-new Jamestown Mattress Arena Club and Atrium Boardroom & Rooftop Patio provide entertainment and rental space for large and small gatherings, corporate events, holiday festivities and more. Northwest Arena provides bar services. All caterers welcome.

Group Planning Information
With over 32,000 square feet of space and multiple rentable areas, Northwest Arena can accommodate groups from 10-250 people and up for weddings, meetings, birthday parties and more. Either of the twin ice surfaces can be converted for largescale dryland events, concerts, or tradeshows. While the arena does have preferred outside caterers, they can also handle your food and beverage needs in-house if that better fits your needs.
Northwest Arena can accommodate bus parking on all four sides of the building and is able to block off spots in advance. In addition to ice skating, curling and ice bumper cars are fun group activities you can do at the arena, and group rates are available. Northwest Arena features its Grapes & Hops Festival every April and is the location of the Comedy Festival's headlining act every August.
