America's Grape Country Wine Festival

America’s Grape Country Wine Festival was fist established in 2008 by William Merritt, owner of Merritt Estate Winery. The festival was created to increase the public's knowledge about the grape wine industry of Lake Erie. This area is the largest grape growing region east of the Rockies. Grape growers in Chautauqua Country produce approximately 65% of New York State's total annual grape harvest.

This two and a half day event showcases the best New York and Pennsylvania wines, agricultural producers, cideries, distilleries, and breweries from across the state, along with specialty food vendors, live entertainment, and local artisans. They have come together to celebrate the region's specialty in grape products and services.
