Children's Events

Bring the kids (of any age) and get muddy with us! Two people share a wheel and trade off between throwing and encouraging their partner. Our instructors are there to help you learn the basics and our studio staff will trim and glaze one piece per person, ready for you to pick up in 3-4weeks. Made more than one masterpiece? No worries you can pay a small fee ($5 per pot) to have those pieces trimmed and glazed too. Another class time is available…

YMCA Camp Onyahsa Monthly Overnight Camp. Only $50 per camper; their 1st Monthly Camp is free for new Onyahsa campers. Monthly camp provides a two-day, one-night camping experience, with athletics, crafts, nature activities, and more! On beautiful Chautauqua Lake. Held the third weekend of each month, Sept.-May, for ages 5-12. (April 2025’s camp will be the 2nd weekend of the month.)

Fun for kids of all ages - come make a personalized tic tac toe board in our clay studio. Another session available on 12/26 from 4:30pm-5:30pm.

Join us on Saturday mornings for Family Art Club, a chance to spend time together as you create. Each week features a different project suitable for makers of most ages accompanied by their favorite crafty adult. Enjoy some family bonding – and we will take care of everything else, including the mess! Ticket admits two makers – one child plus their favorite adult.

Handmade gifts are so much fun to give and to receive so we invite you to join us for Saturday workshops that will focus on projects that are giftable. We will be partnering up with other local makers and businesses to offer specific classes during the 4 week pop-in workshop, so stay tuned for that info. Saturdays only.

From younger kids alternating joysticks to spin around tilt-a-whirl style, to seniors who still possess that inner child, our ice bumper cars are for people of all ages. Differing from the traditional bumper car, the ice bumper car experience is much more fluid. Kids must be at least three years old to ride with an adult; six years old and 42” tall to drive. Rides last for 10 minutes per session.
