Dunkirk Holiday Parade

The City of Dunkirk Festivals and Special Events Department is excited about our 2nd Annual Dunkirk Holiday Parade to be held on Friday, December 6, 2024.

This is a free community event for community members, guests and interested parade participants.

Timeline:
5:30 p.m. - Dance Party with Rudolph at City Hall
6:30 p.m. - Parade starts

The festive parade is sponsored by our friends at Refresco and Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield.

This year’s theme, “Gingerbread Avenue & Candy Cane Lane,” encourages participating entries to decorate their vehicles, floats, and people with a holiday candy cane and/or gingerbread theme! Floats are encouraged to play their favorite Christmas music! We are also having a Dunkirk gingerbread house city display for public viewing and asking local businesses to make a gingerbread house replica of your business – see separate application for this project.

Parade line up will begin at 5:00 pm on Third Street, between Robin Street and Central Avenue. Please check in by traveling down Robin Street to the Third Street check in area to receive your parade number.
