Fall Foliage Walk

Join Chautauqua Watershed Conservancy for a guided walk amidst the fall foliage! Take in the sights and sounds of the changing season on a fall foliage walk on Sunday, October 13th at 1pm with Becky Nystrom, the Conservancy's board of directors’ chair and retired SUNY JCC professor of biology. The walk will be at the David & Margaret Naetzker Preserve, located at 5036 NY-474 in Ashville. The preserve is a nearly entirely forested preserve with scattered areas of meadow habitat. The site has numerous mature oak, white pine, and yellow birch trees as well as American chestnut, black cherry, and hickory trees. The walk is free, but RSVPs are required as space is limited to 20 attendees. Email info@chautauquawatershed.org or call 716-664-2166 x1002 to reserve a spot.
