Fallen foliage, fungi, and foraging forest creatures; there is much going on in the wild as the days get shorter and temperatures drop lower. Discover how different plants and animals prepare themselves for the oncoming winter as you appreciate the nature of Fall.
Join an Audubon Nature Educator to discover how a quiet looking fall landscape is teaming with life and activity. From insects burrowing into the leaf litter to plants preparing to weather the icy temperatures to come, there is activity all around us.
Special Information: This program will take place outside. Please dress for the weather. Sturdy sneakers or boots are recommended as we will be walking over uneven trail surfaces.
