Jamestown Juneteenth Festival

The Jamestown Juneteenth Celebration will be held June 14-16, 2024.

June 14: Join the Jamestown community in celebrating the Juneteenth Festival, with a kickoff party at the Wintergarden Plaza! Featuring a FREE live blues/soul/funk performance by The Breeze Band, we'll have concessions, Juneteenth merchandise and raffles to start off the weekend celebration.

June 15: Join us for Jamestown's 2024 Juneteenth Celebration, at Jackson-Taylor Park! The day will start off with an 11AM opening ceremony, and will include an African drum workshop and live performance by Preach Freedom and Associates, a basketball clinic by the Jamestown Jackals basketball team, a Wild Creatures live animal exhibit, and a live musical performance by Marsha McWilson and Cameron Wilson. Numerous kids activities and games will be available, including the Jamestown Fire Department and a Juneteenth education resource. On site will be vendors, raffles, merchandise and more.

June 16: Join us for the last day of Jamestown's three-day Juneteenth Event. Sunday's festivities will include a morning continental breakfast and worship service, followed by a 2:00PM scholarship presentation, and additional performances by Marsha McWilson and Cameron McWilson and Preach Freedom & Associates, and an event by Brothers in Christ. Kids activities, concessions, and raffles will also be available.
