Nature & Wellness Weekend at The Heron

Join us for a weekend full of family-friendly & FREE programming at The Heron Farm and Event Center!

Programming:
Saturday October 26:
11am-4pm
-1:1 Horse Encounters with Jodi Gray. Horses have the ability to open pathways of emotion otherwise overlooked. Spending a short time in their presence will help you understand the true origin of horsepower and partnership. This activity can be modified for all ages and abilities.

1pm-3pm
-Forest Bathing Experience & Bat appreciation workshop with Diane Clark.

3:30pm-4:30pm
Tarot readings with Francine VerHagen

5pm-6pm
-Sound bath and meditation with Jessica Frombach, bring a yoga mat and blankets to lay on the ground and get cozy!

6:15pm-7:15pm
-Hobo Pies around the campfire! Bring your favorite fillings!

7:30pm
-Enjoy the dark sky views at the Heron, check out the Milky Way and the constellations while star gazing with Domenic Rocco. Bring your camera/smart device – We’ll cover how to capture night sky photos for those that are interested *Weather permitting*

Sunday October 27:
9:30am-10:30am
-Outdoor morning yoga session with our resident Yogui Jen Raines!

11am-12:00pm
-Acorn foraging and processing workshop
with our resident Foraging Expert Harold Reynold

12:00pm
-Mindful tea time, Meditation and Native Gratitude teachings with Isa Cardenas. The tea will be made with local herbs foraged by Harold Reynolds

12:30pm - 2:30pm
-Cozy Crafting Corner with Marie Tomlinson
