The Fenton History Center has an extensive collection of historic photographs of Jamestown and Chautauqua County. The mission of the Fenton is to connect the past to the present and make the vibrant history of Jamestown and Chautauqua County meaningful for today’s communities, and for generations to come. By taking some of these wonderful photos out of the archives and into a gallery, we can build bridges between the past and present.The display will included never before exhibited photos of Brooklyn Square taken in 1968 and 1969. The photographs were taken by Cornell E. Seaburg in an effort to document a neighborhood that was disappearing.
Regular Hours:
Monday - Wednesday - 12 p.m. until 5 p.m.
Thursday & Saturday - 12 p.m. until 6 p.m.
Friday - 12 p.m. until 8 p.m.
Closed Sunday and on most major holidays.
