Chautauqua County has been the recipient of much media attention as of late as new developments and improvements are made throughout the Chautauqua-Lake Erie Region. Organizations, communities, local foundations, New York State and motivated residents work together to revitalize downtowns, bring in new attractions, and improve upon a destination that has already been a vacation hotspot for more than 140 years.
