Doors Open Jamestown is Saturday, Jan 18, 2020– Jamestown, New York’s attractions invite you to treat yourself, your family, and your friends to the Annual Doors Open Jamestown, a FREE day at participating local museums and attractions. History, art, nature, and comedy – all are open for you from 10m-5pm on January 18th. Maps and scavenger hunt forms will be available at each location day-of.

Tickets for Chautauqua Institution’s 2020 Summer Program Season go on-sale Monday, January 13, 2020- Chautauqua Institution is a community on the shores of Chautauqua Lake in southwestern New York state that comes alive each summer with a unique mix of fine and performing arts, lectures, interfaith worship and programs, and recreational activities.

You don’t have to travel to Washington, D.C., or New York City to hear from the best and brightest experts and thought leaders of our time; Chautauqua Institution maintains ongoing relationships with some of the nation’s most prominent cultural and public-service institutions. In 2020, Chautauqua audiences will engage with PBS, the National Constitution Center and the United Nations Foundation, Anna Deavere Smith, Samantha Power, John Meacham, Richard Rohr, and more.

Southern Tier Brewing Company Just Announced a 3XIPA– Southern Tier Brewing Company has a history and reputation of making big IPAs. 3XIPA takes things to a whole new level. This high gravity, double dry-hopped, bitter (90 IBU) Imperial India Pale Ale is brewed with Columbus, CTZ, Cascade, and Simcoe hops, giving it a piney flavor, lingering hop bitterness, plus malty sweetness. It will debut at a beer store near you between January-March 2020 or make a trip to the Empty Pint Taproom in Lakewood, NY.  


#MyFredonia: The Village of Fredonia has a Chance to Win a $500,000 Main Street Business Makeover and be Featured on a Hulu TV Program, “The Small Business Revolution”- With over 4,000 businesses nominated, Fredonia made it into the Top Ten and on the morning of January 14th representatives of the Small Business Revolution and Deluxe Corporation will livestream a video event on Facebook to disclose which communities will be included in the Top Five. Once the Top Five is determined a week-long public voting process will begin immediately. Individuals can vote every day starting 8 am on January 14 through January 21st at 11 pm. People are encouraged to vote once a day on every device they can access by going to votemyfredonia.com. Once on the voting page, there will be a prompt to enter an email. Voters can use the same email address each time they vote. For example, if an individual owns a desktop, phone, tablet and has a computer at work they can vote four times each day.
