Chautauqua, NY – The 2019 “I Love New York” Chautauqua County Travel Guide and Map has arrived at the Chautauqua County Visitors Bureau offices at Chautauqua Institution’s Main Gate building and the I-86 Information Center. The 96 page, four-color guide includes information on what to do and where to play, stay, shop and dine throughout Chautauqua County. Editorial features highlight major attraction themes such as Historic and Cultural Attractions, Entertainment and Art, Wineries and Craft Beverages, Farmers Markets, Rainy Day Activities, Family Fun and Year-Round Recreation in addition to information about the distinct regions in the county: Lake Erie Grape Belt, Chautauqua Lake, Greater Jamestown & Neighboring Lakewood, Findley Lake, and Amish Country. A locator map highlighting Visitor Services, Recreational Attractions, and Trail Routes is also included in the center of the Travel Guide.
Visitors, as well as local residents, can pick up a free guide at the I-86 Rest Areas at Chautauqua Lake and Allegany, the Information Center at the Main Gate at Chautauqua Institution, and through more than 100 local merchants and information racks. In addition, the Chautauqua County Travel Guide is distributed at major travel shows in surrounding markets and through AAA offices in a three-state area. The annual guide is an excellent reference tool for both local residents and visitors to easily locate museums, trails and parks, farm markets, and golf courses in addition to finding information on boat launches and hunting, fishing, and snowmobile regulations, licenses, and seasonal dates. The 2019 Travel Guide features expanded editorial content, a restaurant chart and 6 pages of event and festival information.
The Chautauqua County Visitors Bureau is the official New York State Tourism Promotion Agency for Chautauqua County.
